A Message From Our Founder

From  being  a  dream  sketched  on  a  napkin  and  an  idea  shared  with  friends  in  my   little  alcove,  we  successfully  had  the  first  Lagos  Jazz  Series  in  November  2010.  It   was  four  concerts  held  in  four  venues  over  a  three  day  period.  Our  venues  included    the  prestigious  Sofitel  the  Moorhouse,  the  grand  Federal  Palace  Hotel  garden,  the   German  Consulate  garden  for  the  Jazz  Breakfast  and  the  grand  finale  at  the  Muri   Okunola  Park. 

As  we  bring  you  the  second  Lagos  Jazz  Series,  we  cannot  but  press  replay  and   bring  back  one  or  two  artistes  who  demonstrated  excellence  in  artistry  along  with   a  fresh  raft  of  awesomely  talented  folk.  And  to  really  push  home  the  point,  we  shall   present  a  living  Master  of  Jazz,  one  of  the  artistes  who  have  defined  the  true   pedigree  of  jazz.  We  hope  you’ll  join  us  in  making  history,  as a  guest,  as  a  partner,   as  a  sponsor.
